The information in this video is excellent! I love this video channel (and their shop for stationery supplies) but I dislike that they call graphite "lead."

This is a good enough introduction to charcoal. It hurts to watch someone advocate for blending charcoal with one's hands- but I see it all the time. If you're in my classes, you know better and you know why. She also states that you should always use spray fixative on all of your work which is more an opinion than a guideline.

Suggested printer settings: print at 100% or "full size", choose "best" quality for the clearest image. This is set to "black and white" so you can set your printer to color or black and white.
